WHAT: Mission Fed Credit Union will continue to spread holiday cheer for the sixth year in a row by donating and decorating ten holiday trees for the San Diego Center for Children to enjoy. On Wednesday, December 8, a group of Mission Fed team members will safely deliver and decorate the festive holiday trees to the San Diego Center for Children’s main campus to bring seasonal joy to the children at the campus.
Within its safe and nurturing 12-acre campus, the Center provides therapeutic care, special education, foster care and transition age services to children and families struggling with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, empowering the lives of more than 1,000 people every day. Many of the children and teens in therapeutic residential care remain at the Center’s main campus during the holidays.
