SAN DIEGO – As the concerns related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continue to mount, Mission Fed will remain open to serve its members as an essential service under the California Governor’s statewide stay at home order. Branches of Mission Federal Credit Union, San Diego’s largest member-owned, not-for-profit, full-service financial institution exclusively serving San Diego County, will remain open from Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Please note that Mission Fed’s Little Italy and Carmel Valley branch locations are closed on Saturdays.
Members of Mission Fed should only visit branches directly if absolutely necessary. Staffing in branches may be limited as a result of the statewide mandate and therefore, members may experience extended wait times. Additionally, for the safety of everyone and to maintain social distancing, Mission Fed is limiting the number of members in the branch at one time. ATMs are available 24/7. Mission Fed is monitoring its ATMs regularly to ensure that there is enough cash available for member needs. Members can access their money surcharge-free at over 30,000 ATMs nationwide, as well as manage their accounts online and with mobile banking. To find an ATM near you, visit: missionfed.com/branch-locator.
“Mission Fed has earned an outstanding reputation as a devoted corporate citizen and supporter of our community. We will continue to get through this together, said Debra Schwartz, President and CEO of Mission Federal Credit Union. “We want to assure you that we are here to serve and support our members, always keeping their health and wellbeing at the forefront. Mission Federal Credit Union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) for at least $250,000. We want our members to feel assured that their money is safe and protected with Mission Fed.”
Schwartz added, “For your safety, we recommend credit or debit card usage instead of cash for as many transactions as possible. As we continue to monitor the situation, additional changes in our operations may become necessary to comply with government mandates and guidelines. We will keep you informed as we move through these challenging times together. Please continue to visit our website missionfed.com for updates and the most current information related to branch and service operations.”
Mission Fed’s Contact Center is available to assist members through email at [email protected]. If a member needs to speak with a representative, help is available 6-days-a-week (Monday – Friday 7:00am – 7:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 4pm) at 858.524.2850 or 800.500.6328. We ask for your patience as our wait times may be longer than usual due to increased volumes.
