Mission Federal Credit Union Reaches 250,000 Member Threshold

SAN DIEGO – Mission Federal Credit Union, San Diego’s largest member-owned, not-forprofit, full-service financial institution exclusively serving San Diego County, has reached a milestone of 250,000 members. The attainment of this threshold attests to Mission Fed’s commitment to delivering personalized service to every individual who requests a loan, opens an account, emails or calls the credit union, or visits a branch for their financial needs.
“As our membership has grown, so has our ability to provide great financial products,” said Debra Schwartz, president and CEO of Mission Fed. “We now manage over $3.7 billion in assets, which allows us the stability and financial ability to offer more services to our members. We appreciate that our 250,000 members believe in us, just like we believe in them, which is why we strive to constantly improve our offerings and put their needs and the needs of San Diego County initiatives first. Schwartz noted that this is significant because it empowers the organization to serve its members’ growing needs with the financial strength and stability to offer great loan rates and enhance the services, and the ability to continue to upgrade technology to support 32 branches.
