Mission Federal Credit Union Has Moved Its Administrative Offices to Scripps Ranch

SAN DIEGO – Mission Federal Credit Union, San Diego’s largest, locally based financial institution exclusively serving San Diego County, has moved its administrative offices to Scripps Ranch after more than 30 years in Sorrento Mesa. At Mission Fed Horizon Center, 10325 Meanley Drive, San Diego, CA 92131, two of the three buildings provide collaborative workspace for Mission Fed’s administrative employees. The third building will be leased, with the potential for future credit union growth over the next several decades.
In late 1985 when employees moved into the Sorrento Mesa building, Mission Fed had 47,000 customers, $209 Million in assets and 125 employees. Since then, Mission Fed has grown to more than 237,000 customers, over $3.5 Billion in assets and almost 550 employees.
“This is a truly a Mission Fed Moment for all of us,” said Debra Schwartz, Mission Fed President and CEO. “Thanks to our customers’ loyalty and trust, we’ve grown a great deal over three decades. The new campus is a combined workspace for administrative employees who for many years had been working at separate buildings across town from each other. We needed more collaborative and productive workspaces, training rooms and technology to provide an even better service experience for our customers—and now Horizon Center offers that.”
